DATES

DATES:  Throughout the CHAPS 2000 program, dates must be entered in the form MN/DA/YEAR. (Example: 08/15/1998)  Dates will appear in the following format: 15-Aug-1998.

DATE RANGES:   To obtain a complete cow-calf performance report, we recommend using a date range of one day past the previous weigh date to the present weigh date.  This date range will define the complete year (weaning date to weaning date) for performance records, cow culling information and overall herd evaluation. We recommend that your first birth date be entered as one day past the previous weigh date and the last birth date be the current year's weigh date.  Cow-Calf performance records are completed when the calves are weighed and/or sold.
