What is CHAPS?

CHAPS is an acronym for Cow Herd Appraisal Performance Software. Our aim is to provide information and education to those in the beef cattle industry and the food industry.

Key production issues and how to streamline operations to sustain profitability are important items. Whether it be the cow-calf, background, feedlot or packing segment of the beef industry, a complete and accurate throughput of information is essential in the communication process.

Beef quality assurance is another important part of beef production. Source verification, herd health management and quality are key issues for beef producers as we move to mainstream our product into the food industry.
